Here at the Welcome Stranger we are aware of our Carbon Footprint.

We recycle all carboard, all cans, all glass and try to be as conscious of our water usage as possible.

​

We only use GM free Rapeseed oil in our frying ranges, of which the used oil is then recycled into other products.

​

We endeavour to buy as much of our fish from sustainable sources and the potatoes for our chips come direct from farms within the County of Cornwall, reducing the amount of travelling miles to the absolute minimum.

​

The Welcome Stranger is committed to offsetting our Carbon Footprint as much as we possibly can and have our very own woodland in North Cornwall, which captures around 2 tons of Carbon Dioxide each year.
